Abstract
A child treated with radiotherapy and surgery for a desmoplastic medulloblastoma of the left cerebellar hemisphere at the age of 10 mo. developed a malignant astrocytoma in the same site 11 yr later. Theories of origin of the 2nd tumor, particularly in relation to concepts of the genesis of medulloblastoma in general, are discussed. This publication has 16 references indexed in Scilit:
