L–DOPA AND THE SHY–DRAGER SYNDROME *

Abstract
A typical case of the Shy‐Drager syndrome is reported, with extensive haemodynamic studies. The clinical and haemodynamic responses to L‐dopa and 9‐α‐fluorocortisone, used both separately and together, are outlined. The studies suggest that the combination of these two drugs is particularly effective in this disorder and is more satisfactory than the use of either one individually.
