HIGH FREQUENCY OF HAPLOIDS FROM CROSSES OF HORDEUM LECHLERI (6x) × H. VULGARE (2x) AND H. JUBATUM (4x) × H. BULBOSUM (2x)

Abstract

About half of the plants obtained from Hordeum lechleri × H. vulgare crosses were haploids, the other half hybrids. Only haploids were obtained from crosses between H. jubatum and 2x H. bulbosum. Haploids from both crosses were of maternal origin.
