Abstract
Isolates were from Quincy, Washington, Urbana, Illinois, Corvallis, Oregon and Bend, Oregon (all USA). No spores of the Bend, Corvallis and Illinois isolates germinated on any of the 5 media tested whereas the Washington isolate germinated on all media. The ungerminated isolates failed to germinate over the period of a year when tested at 2 month intervals. Some germination of all isolates occurred in soil. The lack of germination on agar seemed to be related to the presence of a peridium. The Washington isolate had the least well developed peridium. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
