Abstract
The neonatal rhesus monkey is susceptible to the induction of autoimmune encephalomyelitis. The disease has been produced regularly by injection of neonatal animals with guinea pig spinal cord antigen in complete Freund's adjuvant. The onset of the disease, as compared with onset in adults, is delayed and is most often heralded by intrinsic eye lesions, notably widespread retinal hemorrhages. This publication has 16 references indexed in Scilit:
