Abstract
Data obtained on heat loss in the Russell Sage calorimeter have been analyzed as regards the transfer of heat from the interior of the body to the skin and from the skin into the environment at temperatures of 22°C. to 35°C. The heat loss from a blackened cylinder similar in shape to a man's trunk was studied and a comparison made with the heat loss from the skin. Keywords
