Abstract
The nonlinear fate of lower-hybrid electrostatic turbulence triggered by a whistler "pump" wave is discussed. Rapid anomalous absorption of the electromagnetic energy and good ion and electron heating are obtained for very reasonable amplitudes of the pump wave.Keywords
