Joint Toxic Action Against House Flies in Mixtures of Parathion and Its Methyl Homolog

Abstract
In study of the relative toxicity to adult Musca domestica, as detd. by the turntable method, the methyl homolog was 63% as toxic as parathion; mixtures of the 2 (1:4, 1:1, and 4:1) were, respectively, 72, 88, and 91% as toxic as parathion. The action of the compounds when applied jointly was identified as similar action since one of them can be substituted for the other in a constant ratio without altering the toxicity of the mixture.
