Abstract
Thirteen patients with recurring stage A transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder were treated with monthly bladder instillations of doxorubicin hydrochloride. Followup at 3 mo. intervals showed excellent control of tumor recurrence with complete remissions for up to 21 mo. in 2 patients. The median for remission in 8 of 13 patients was 10 mo. Two patients with bladder papillomatosis were treated successfully by the same method. This publication has 29 references indexed in Scilit:
