Homonymous Hemianopia in Mu1tiple Sclerosis

Abstract
Despite the fact that the lesions of multiple sclerosis affect the brain in many areas, hemonymous hemianopia is rarely reported in this disease. This is in sharp contrast to the marked frequency of retrobulbar neuritis in multiple sclerosis. The authors report 4 instances of homonymous hemianopia in multiple sclerosis. The presence of dense paracentral components suggest the occipital cortex as the site of the lesions.
