Gonocalyx amplexicaulis (Ericaceae): A New Panamanian Blueberry

Abstract

Gonocalyx amplexicaulus (Ericaceae), a new epiphytic blueberry from the cloud forest along the Continental Divide of Prov. Bocas del Toro, Panama, is described and illustrated. A key to the nine species in the genus is also included. [G. costaricensis, G. tetrapterus, G. almedae, G. potoricensis, G. concolor, G. pulcher, G. pterocarpus and G. smilacifolius].
