Abstract
Summary A patient with adenocarcinoma of the sigmoid colon producing alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) is described. Hepatoid differentiation is suggested by the morphological appearance and production of hepatic-type AFP. The possible histogenesis of such a tumor is discussed.Keywords
