Abstract
It has been found that proportional-integral-anti-wind-up regulators may produce unacceptable sluggish start-up in a large class of industrial plants, such as DC drives and temperature- or pressure-control systems. In this paper the effect is clarified, better-suited regulator structures are discussed in both continuous and discrete forms, and stability test are outlined. Keywords
