Abstract
Cold injury was produced in 66 rabbits by immersing the hind limb in a mixture of ice and alcohol at a temperature of -5[degree]C to -10[degree]C. Thawing was carried out at room temperature (27[degree]C to 30[degree]C). Tissue loss due to cold injury was graded in 6 degrees. Isoxsuprine hydrochloride markedly reduced the tissue loss in cold injury when given early. This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
