Abstract
Sera of 1,000 adults (aged 50 to 104) from Memphis, Tennessee were tested by the microagglutination procedure for antibodies to Legionella pneumophila (Philadelphia 1 strain). Of the 1,000 sera tested, 53 (5.3%) had titers of 1:16 or greater to L. pneumophila.Keywords
