Abstract
The stereocilia of cochlear hair cells reportedly contain actin filaments. The presence of myosin was verified. The mechanical properties of the hair cells may be actively modifiable by actin-myosin interactions as in muscle cells.This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
