Abstract
The method of Haering and Adams is generalised to be applicable to any set of points properly chosen with respect to each other across glow peaks generated at different linear temperature rise rates. The generalised method is tested, together with similar generalisations for other literature methods based on various linear temperature rise rates, and is shown to predict trap ionisation energies accurately. This procedure is particularly useful in that it has been able to determine separately the two energies of an overlapping glow peak generated by two thermally connected traps. Keywords
