Equipment and Technique Used in Laboratory Evaluation of Pesticide Dusts in Toxicological Studies with Honeybees1

Abstract
This paper presents photographs and descriptions of the bell-jar vacuum duster, holding cages, dusting cages, stock bee cages, aspirating apparatus, and other equipment used in laboratory evaluation of pesticide dusts in toxicological studies with honeybees. The technique of utilizing this equipment in pesticide evaluation is given in detail, and the precautions employed to avoid contamination are disclosed.
