Abstract
Twelve hamster .times. cattle (Bos taurus) cell hybrids showed loss of cattle chromosomes, which allows their use for chromosome mapping of cattle. Genes coding for G6PD (glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase), .alpha.-GAL A (.alpha.-galactosidase A), PGK (phosphoglycerate kinase) and (indirectly) HGPRT (hypoxanthine guanine phosphoribosyl transferase) are syntenic and localized on the X chromosome. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
