Abstract
The error rates published by the author (Biometrics 13 511-536, 1957) for Duncan''s new multiple range test were placed upon critical values tabulated by Beyer (Virginia Polytechnic Institute Technical Report No. 4, 1953) and by Duncan (Biometrics 11: 1-42, 1955), some of which were in error, as reported earlier by the author (Journal of the American Statistical Association 52: 372, 1957). On the basis of the corrected critical values for this test recently published by the author (Biometrics 16: 671-685, 1960), the author''s table of minimum Type I error rates for the LSD test corresponding to error rates 0.05 and 0.01 for Duncan''s test has been completely recomputed, and the corrected table is givenin the present note. Also given is a list of corrections to the author''s table of maximum combined Type n-III error rates for Duncan''s test with Type I error rates 0.05 and 0.01.
