Abstract
Assuming (a) an exactly |ΔI|=12 weak Lagrangian and (b) the existence of an isospin-breaking term, ε3u3, in the strong Hamiltonian, the ratios of reduced decay rates for K3π and K2π decays, observed experimentally to vary from the |ΔI|=12 predictions by ∼10%, are well explained if ε30.05. Rare K-decay modes involving two photons are estimated.
