Observations on Therapeutic and Prophylactic Effects by Homologous Immune Blood against Schistosoma mansoni in Rhesus Monkeys

Abstract
Demonstrable effects were not observed against mature or immature worms in 2 respective recipient monkeys given transfusions of immune blood corresponding to approximately one-third of their total blood volumes. Results were based upon egg counts, egg hatchings, and the time for eggs to appear in the feces which were similar to their respective parallel controls.
