Abstract
In male bats Tadarida brasiliensis spermatogenesis occurs only during winter and spring. Two additional lactate dehydrogenase isozymes appear in testes containing mature spermatozoa. This type of isozymic change implies cyclic activation of genes and affords valuable markers for study of the factors involved. Keywords
