Abstract
Under field conditions different crops brought about highly significant differences in the degree of aggregation in the soil; differences caused by. lime, manure, and phosphate were insignificant. The degree of aggregation of soil under grass increases with the age of the stand and the density of the cover. The samples taken under grass show highly significant correlation between the degree of soil aggregation and the content of both nitrogen and organic matter. The data are discussed in relation to those presented by other workers. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
