Abstract
The histological preparations of pancreatic endocrine nodules in the tunny-fish were studied. Gomori''s chromic hematoxylin techniques, and material corresponding to the main islets A1 and B1 were used. A comparative study between both types of nodules obtained by planimetric determination revealed that A1 islets are more abundant in [alpha] cells than B1 islets. Two modalities, possibly of functional character, can be observed within a cells, and a cariometrical analysis was performed between them. The frequency of both modalities within the types of nodules has also been analysed. Keywords
