Abstract
The results of some of the work which guided the preparation of a Proposed Test Procedure for Thermal Evaluation of Rigid Electrical Insulating Materials is reported. Long-term thermal aging data for laminates is presented. It is found that om comparative thermal life is often dependent on property criterion and end-point. A Test Procedure should, therefore, provide universal data. It is concluded that AIEE ID requires revision.Keywords
