Conjugate Addition of Perfluoroalkyllithiums to α,β-Unsaturated Carbonyl Substrates by Complexation with Aluminum Tris(2,6-diphenylphenoxide)

Abstract
A variety of perfluoroalkyl groups can be successfully introduced at the β positions of α,β-unsaturated carbonyl substrates using aluminum tris(2,6-diphenylphenoxide)/perfluoroalkyllithium systems, which are very difficult to achieve in organocopper chemistry.
