Notizen: Racematspaltung von ᴅʟ-Aminosäuren an asymmetrischen Ionenaustauschern

Abstract
Three types of ion-exchangers varying in molar proportion of their components were used. Within each type the effectiveness varied with increasing tyrosine content up to a certain limit. In all cases the L-antipode was isolated in about 60% yield, on the basis of racemate added. The activating effect in some instances was increased by the use of smaller granules and by an increase in the diameter of the columns. Repeated passage through the columns likewise increased the separating effect up to a certain limit. Similar splitting effects of DL-amino acids were obtained by the use of ion exchange resins with D-glucose or D-galactose as asymetric components.
