Abstract
The quasi-equilibrium electron and ion temperatures and the corresponding collisional-radiative recombination coefficient in magnetically confined decaying He-He$^+$-e plasmas are calculated using an approximate version of a method described earlier (Bates & Kingston 1964). The results are in quite good accord with experimental data of Motley & Kuckes (1962) and of Hinnov & Hirschberg (1962).Keywords
