Hair Dysplasia Induced by X-Rays in Mice under Different Irradiation Conditions

Abstract
Using hair dysplasia induced by X-rays in young mice as a criterion, the effect of local and total-body X-irradiation was studied to evaluate abscopal radiation effects. A large increase of irradiated volume does not influence the rate of X-ray-induced dysplasia, if appropriate precautions are taken to avoid physical errors.
