Abstract
The angular dependence of gamma-gamma coincidences has been studied for , , and in an attempt to evaluate the predicted angular correlations between successive quanta. The coincidence rates were found to be independent of the relative directions of the quanta to within a few percent except as the counters approached each other closely, where an increase was observed. This increase was attributed to scattered quanta and was measured by an independent method.
