Seasonal and daily variations in locomotor activity are recorded in 11 animals over 17 weeks, covering the last 8 weeks of the inactive season and the ensuing breeding season. The results are compared with changes in body weight and with the onset, duration and frequency of reproductive activity. These and some behavioral observations are related to the conclusions of previous publications.
