Abstract
A short right renal vein can create technical problems during cadaveric renal transplants. A method is described of right renal vein extension. The technique incorporates the proximal vena cava into the right renal vein, using the cephalad vena caval opening as the new renal vein ostium. The potential advantages of this method are discussed. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
