Observed spectra due to n = 3 to 4 transitions in Fe XVII and isoelectronic spectra

Abstract
An analysis of spectrograms of laser-produced plasmas is extended to include the strongest emission lines due to transitions between levels of principal quantum numbers n = 3 and 4 for ions in the Ne I isoelectronic sequence between K X and Fe XVII. Spectral-line classifications are supported by theoretical Hartree–XR and Slater–Condon computations of wavelengths and oscillator strengths as well as isoelectronic comparisons.
