An automatic microapplicator has been built which is suitable for administering either topical or injected doses of toxic solutions or suspensions. A time delay relay controls the delivery of a wide choice of volumes ranging from approximately 0.5 to 5 microliters with a tolerance of 5% or less, using a 0.25-ml. glass syringe and a number 27 hypodermic needle. The details of construction and operation are described.
