Abstract

The effect on the contraction of the guinea pig''s ilum by histamine or serotonin caused by the addition of serum was studied with serum specimens from allergic patients, tumor cases and controls. It is concluded that the effect is not specifically related to the allergic state or the presence of malignant growth.
