A Comparison of the Infectivity of Schistosoma japonicum Occurring in Japan for Oncomelania nosophora and Oncomelania formosana

Exptl. infections with 2 spp. of snails, O. formosana and O. nosophora, known to serve as hosts for S. japonicum in Formosa and Japan, respectively, indicate that the former cannot be infected by S. japonicum autochthonous to Japan.
