Dextrality and Sinistrality of Hand and Eye

Abstract
An analysis of Galton''s data, with a review of the literature. The characters dealt with are visual acuity and strength of grip. No correlation is found between ocular and manual laterality or between either and age. These results contradict the conclusion of van Biervliet, Humphry, Callan, Gould, LeConte, and Parson, that the dominant eye and the dominant hand are always on the same side.
