Abstract
The operative, postoperative and late complications of 125I implantation and pelvic lymphadenectomy in 36 patients with curable prostatic cancer are described. Of these patients, 14 had previously undergone external beam therapy that failed; it is in this group that the major morbidity occurred. The possible mechanism of these complications and the criteria for case selection to prevent these complications are discussed. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
