Abstract
On each trial a signal followed by one of two reinforcing lights is presented. S predicts which of the two lights will occur on each trial. This study deals with the effect of trials on which neither reinforcing light is presented. Findings may be accounted for in terms of the hypothesis requiring zero change in response probability on trials where no information is given.
