CHANGING PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF FOUNDRY WORKERS IN THE PRODUCTION OF MEDIUM WEIGHT CASTINGS

Abstract

Systematic investigations with physiological methods in foun dries have shown that even in highly mechanized work, high physical demands may exist. By the same methods, ways for lightening human work can be found, which not only do not decrease productivity, but in many cases substantially increase it.
