Abstract

IT is well known that magnesium deficiency occurs in man, but it is not generally agreed that it may produce symptoms.¹ For this reason it is considered worth while to present the study of a well documented case of symptomatic magnesium deficiency.Case ReportA 40-year-old man was admitted to the Oklahoma City Veterans Administration Hospital because of intermittent diarrhea of 2 years' duration.
