Abstract
The reaction of ethyl radicals with deuterium has been studied. The ethyl radicals were produced by photodecomposition of diethyl ketone. As activation energy was found E=13.3±0.5 kcal. From this value it may be concluded that the activation energy is about 11.5±1 kcal for the reaction of ethyl radicals with hydrogen.Keywords
