The Management of Urgency and Frequency of Micturition

Abstract

Summary— The historical pattern of frequency and urgency of micturition is outlined and their role as the prime motivator of detrusor instability discussed. Thirty female patients were analysed; provocative cystometry was performed in 22 of them. Their management is reviewed and a programme of out-patient treatment submitted.
