Abstract
Measurements of ultra violet absorption spectra, potentiometric titration curves and precipitability by ammonium sulphate made on mixed solns. of serum proteins showed no anomalous mixture effects; osmotic pressures of mixtures were greater than those expected from osmotic pressures of the separate components. The bearing of these results on those of McFarlane [see B. A. 9(9): Entry 18247] and of Pedersen [see B. A. 11(4): Entry 8072] obtained with the ultra centrifuge was discussed. No known hypothesis could account for all these observations. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
