Abstract
The metabolism of the bone marrow of rabbits is found to be of the same type as that of tumor tissue, retina and kidney medulla. The average values for normal marrow are: Qo..= -3-9, Q0" =+3-8andQii =+7-1. " co2 co2 Indirect measurements indicate that probably most of the glycolysis is due to the granulocytes, while these cells and the nucleated red cells are about equally active in their respiration. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
