Abstract
The effect of combinations of adrenal-ectomy, hypophysectomy, ovariectomy, and of hypoglycaemia on autofluorescent lipid granules of the uterine epithelium in the spayed rat and mouse has been investigated. The experiments have shown that apart from estrogen, some metabolic process - directly or indirectly influenced by insulin - is involved in the control of the number of these lipid granules. Keywords
