Abstract
In rats made K-deficient but not alkalotic by low K diet and desoxycortisone, the pH of gastric juice rose, and titratable acidity and concn. of K and Cl fell. Na rose from 49 to 101 mEq./l. The composition of gastric juice returned towards normal on KCl admn. Keywords
