Abstract
Long-term effects of conventional immunotherapy on various immunological parameters were evaluated in 31 patients with grass hay fever who attended an allergy clinic for up to 3 yr. The mean proliferative lymphocyte response decreased significantly after the 1st yr and the mean antigen-specific Ig[immunoglobulin]G antibody level increased significantly after the 2nd yr. Neither the mean antigen-specific IgE nor the mean total serum IgE level changed significantly at any point in time during the 3 yr of immunotherapy. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
