Adenolymphoma of the Lower Lip

Abstract
Two cases of adenolymphoma of the lower lip are briefly described. The first case refers to a man of 42 years. No observations on histogenesis can be deduced from this case. In the second case, a 73-year-old man, the histological examination showed the progressive development of the tumour, from the initial eosinophilic metaplasia of ducts of a labial salivary gland to the typical aspect of adenolymphoma. The dysplastic origin of adenolymphoma of the lower lip is suggested.
